Young’s Garden
Young’s Garden is an app to identify, track, and monitor the condition of my plants.
It turns the repeated habit of asking ChatGPT about plant photos into a focused app flow: take or import a photo, identify the plant, and see the practical care details I usually want to know at a glance.

Key Features
- Identify a plant from a camera photo or an imported photo.
- Show plant names in Korean, English, and Norwegian, along with botanical name details.
- Summarize sunlight, water, fertilizer, deer risk, life cycle, and outdoor winter hardiness.
- Check the condition of the plant in the photo and save short care advice.
- Save plants to a personal garden list and add new photos to existing plants.
- Keep a lightweight photo history for each plant so changes can be reviewed over time.
How It Works
- Take a plant photo or import one from the photo library.
- Young’s Garden sends the image to AI for plant identification and care analysis.
- Review the result, then save it as a new plant or add the photo to an existing plant.
- Open the plant detail screen to view care information, condition checks, and photo history.
Note
This is a personal app and is not published on the App Store. While there are already many gardening apps available, I built this one for my own gardening needs and am currently exploring whether it could also be useful to others.
